slow progress on the Greater Daemon =)

He may eventually get a name...
I also may eventually finish him.
Just a couple of progress pics on the painting.

  3. Yes, a stomach mouth! Looks greatly nurgly, and seems so much more efficient.

  4. cute as hell, i love the way he looks at me! even though it doesn't really hit my tastes as to colour choice/shading thingy, i really really like him.
and yes, the belly maw is perfect, looks like a specially-morphed piece of anatomy for chewin' up 15mm opponents :D

since you ask for suggestions, maybe you could consider adding a bit of colour variation to the flesh? it's quite a big model, all blobby and things, so pehaps using some sickening green or purple shades could help bring out the particular body parts a bit. i'd also add a tongue, sticking out of one of the mouths for extra obscenity, but that's only me ;)

    love an' all that

    1. Hi!am likely to add green at some point? somewhere?
Also... but the belly maw does have a tongue>? just needs more painting... I could possibly add a thin one to the top mouth... but am likely on the modelling front to leave it since I've started on the paint...
may use such a suggestion on the daemon princes/spawn when I get to them... =)

  6. I like the touch of giving him (it? them?) two nipples on the left side. The exposed spine is another really cool addition. Looking forward to seeing the finished product!

    1. I went with 'him' but 'it' does seem appropriate =)
I basically stole? a bunch of ideas from my favourite nurgle demons and threw them together.
      thank you for your comments!
